ABP Cahir is the inaugural winner of the Fittest Factory in Ireland.
The competition was held at University of Limerick on July 8th with nearly 200 Food Group employees from across Ireland and one team travelling from Poland to take part. 15 employees from ABP Cahir made up the winning team.
Throughout the day employees took part in sporting challenges including athletics, bouncy castle obstacle courses and seven-a-side soccer. The overall event was won by ABP Cahir, second place went to ABP Slaney and ABP Nenagh finished third.
The company wide sports day is a key element of the company’s health and wellbeing programme, and provided an opportunity for employees across all 11 ABP locations in Ireland and the Poland site to socialise and take part in the action filled sports day event.
