Uisce Éireann reports that repairs at the Thomastown Water treatment plant have been completed and supply should be fully restored to all customers in the area.
The company says staff have not identified the exact cause of the interruption and staff are trying to establish the exact cause of the interruption to prevent a reoccurrence.
Uisce Éireann is also acknowledging the inconvenience when an unplanned outage occurs and thanks customers for their patience.

Customers with water outages are asked to report them to the company directly and as soon as possible to provide information to quickly investigate the issue causing the outage.
The public are asked to conserve their water usage whenever possible.
