The Rock of Cashel is set to be lit up in purple tonight in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
The day aims to promote understanding of the importance of preventing elder abuse and supporting the rights and well-being of older people.

The Rock has lit up in recent years to highlight solidarity with Ukraine, awareness on Sepsis and Aphasia to name a few.
