Two Easter Events Coming To Tipperary Town This Weekend


Two events are planned for Tipperary Town tomorrow – between noon and 2pm the Tipperary Town Marketing Group are hosting an event involving Toby the Toymaster Puppy and the Easter Bunny. The event will involve visits to Danny Ryan’s Music, Supervalu, Joe Whelan’s, Patty’s Flower shop and Mc Mahon’s shoes. The event is aimed at children and bringing some footfall to the town centre.  

In the afternoon at 2pm the Tipperary Vintage Club will stage a Honda Fifty Bike run – all kinds of motorised vehicles are welcome to take part including cars and trucks. The run will depart from the Plaza on the Limerick Road (registration opens at noon) at 2pm and is in aid of the South Tipperary Hospice.

The run will cover a 95km route that includes – Tipperary town Centre, Ballyglass Hill, Lisvernane, Galbally, Mooreabbey, Kilross, Emly, Monard, Solohead, Donohill, Donaskeigh, Kilfeacle and returning to Tipperary town via the N74 Cashel road.The main rally event normally held on Easter Sunday has been rescheduled  for  June 18th due to the currently unsuitable ground conditions at the site on the Limerick road.
