Tipperary Under Cold Snap Warning

Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Ice Warning for all of Ireland.

The service is forecasting hazardous conditions due to freezing temperatures including icy stretches on roads and paths.

The warning comes into effect at 6pm this evening and is valid until 10am tomorrow.

The cold snap is expected to extend into Wednesday with daytime temperatures struggling to reach 2 degrees with heavy sleety showers forecast for Thursday and Friday.
