Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District Council Meeting To Update On Housing, Planning, Grant Allocation

Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District Council will meet today at 11am. The eleven councillors will get an update on housing, planning, the schedule of engineering works, decide on the allocation of grants under the GMA fund and also consider 10 motions. 

The motions call on the council for a number of actions including a review of Barronstown cross, installing a wheelchair friendly swing and a bin in the River Arra walkway Tipperary town as well as improved access from Glenview Square for buggies and wheelchairs, signage on approach rod to be cleaned, resurfacing at William Street in Cashel, on the Gooldscross to Clonoulty road including the bridge and work on footpaths at Lacey villas in Tipperary town and at Cantwell’s corner in Cashel. Councillors are also seeking  insulation works on houses in Anvil Close in Lisvernane and  increased funding for Safety Improvement works in the district as none was included in the 2023 allocation.
