Members of the community in Tipperary town are invited to a workshop in Scoil Ailbe this evening to devise content for a mural to be painted on the wall of Ronan’s Shop in James Connolly Park. The workshop is scheduled to last two hours beginning at 6pm. The date of October 1st has been set as the day for painting. There will be a second workshop next week on Wed Sept 21st to finalise the preparations. The organisers are appealing to members of the community to get involved in designing and painting the mural. The project is led by Tipperary Town Murals group in collaboration with the Walls Project. All are welcome to attend the workshop this evening to make arrangements for this community mural.
