There’s been an multi-agency response to an incident overnight.
Emergency Services which included the fire service, Gardai , ambulances and R117 helicopter were called out to assist in a water search in Clonmel.
It follows reports that a man had been seen entering the River Suir near New Quay in Clonmel late last night.
Gardaí says an extensive search of the area was conducted but there was no male discovered.
