Funds are being made available to assist age friendly groups to re-engage as the pandemic recedes.
The aim is to help support Age Friendly Groups with a grant of of €200 to plan an event, entertainment or artistic activity across Tipperary during the month of May.
Eligible Groups include Age Friendly, Active Retirement, ICA, Men’s Sheds, Women’s Sheds, Groups whose purpose is to support older adults are eligible to apply.
This grant is not open to Day Care Centres or for Nursing Homes.
The scheme is run by Tipperary County Council and applications should be returned before the closing date of 12 noon on Friday 29th April 2022 – full details are available on Tipperarycoco.ie website.
