A woman (early 50s) has died after becoming unwell on the summit of the Galtee Mountains this afternoon (1pm).
A multi-agency response involving Cahir Gardaí, South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association and Coast Guard Rescue assisted in the removal the body of a woman from the Galtymore Climb.
Her body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital, where a post mortem is due to take place.
While a file will be prepared for the Coroners Court.
