President and Sabrina Higgins have both tested positive for Covid via antigen tests.
The couple are said to be displaying mild COVID-19 symptoms this morning and will be isolating for the next 7 dyas.
The President while isolating is continuing to work from home.
WALK-IN COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics have now been extended to the 5-11 age group, and will be offered alongside scheduled clinics at the three Mid-West COVID-19 Vaccination Centres all this weekend, from Friday March 4 to Sunday March 6 and going forward.
Walk in clinics area available tomorrow in Clonmel for this age group at the vaccination centre in (Gortnafleur Business Park, Clonmel E91 WR29) from 9am-12pm and in Nenagh at the Abbey court hotel today Friday, 1.30pm-6.30pm; Saturday, 8.30am-12.30pm; Sunday 1.30-5pm.
Walk in clinics are also available at Scoil Carmel in Limerick today (Friday, 8.30am-6.30; Saturday, 1.30pm-5pm; Sunday, 8.30am-12.30pm); Scheduled clinics for the 5-11 age group will also continue at all three centres, and parents can book an appointment for their child at the hse website.
