We are aware of a large number of Water Issues in the locality. Below are the details, as we have them, from Irish Water. We are also aware that more accurate information from Irish Water is difficult to obtain, especially dates/times of a resolution to these problems. Tipp Mid West Radio is currently trying to arrange a spokesperson from Irish Water to clarify the ongoing issues for listeners.

Production has been restored at water treatment plants serving the Galtee & Dundrum Water Supply Schemes, following storm-related issues.

Please note, it may take some time for normal water supply to be restored to all areas. In particular, it may take 24-36 hours for normal water pressure to return to areas at the end of networks or at higher elevations.

In the meantime, tankers will remain in place in the following locations:
Boherlahan, Clonoulty, Ardmayle, Tankerstown School, Emly, Cullen, Kilross & Mount Bruis.

Reservoir works may cause supply disruptions to Rossadrehid, Bansha, Clonpet, Emly, Lattin, Cullen, Monard, Glenbane, Ardloman, Mount Bruce, Kilross, Shronel, Knockgraffon, New Inn, Rockwell, Suirville, Lagganstown, Toureen and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.

Water tankers are available at Kilross, Mount Bruis, Emily and Cullen from 5pm on 25 August until 1:30pm on 28 August.

Works at the Water Treatment Plant may cause supply disruptions to Dundrum, Clonoulty, Boherlahan, Ardmayle, Camas, Thurles Beg, Killock, Holycross South, Synone, Tubridorra, Cloneyharp, Drombane South, Carrhue and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.

Water tankers are available at Boherlahan, Clonoulty, Ardmayle and Tankerstown School from 25 August.

An unplanned power outage may cause supply disruptions to Cashel Town and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.

Crews are working to restore supply to all affected areas as soon as possible.
