Another life has been lost on Co Tipperary’s roads.
A pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead after being struck by a van on the N62 between Horse and Jockey and Thurles.
The collision occurred at around 3 am.
The man’s body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will take place later.
The driver of the van, the sole occupant, was uninjured. The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
