The rainfall warning for Co Tipperary has been upgraded this morning.
The county now joins Waterford in being subject to a status Orange rainfall advisory, warning of accumulations in excess of 50mm in some parts.
The warning comes into effect at 3 pm today and will remain in place until 6 pm tomorrow, Thursday.
Meanwhile, a status yellow rainfall has been issued for Wexford, Kilkenny, and Cork. The warning comes into effect at 3 pm will remain in place until 6 pm tomorrow.
