The public in Tipperary town and environs is being advised that the water supply to much of the area will be shut down shortly because of a burst main in Cordangan.
The water supply is due to be shut down by midday, therefore people are being advised to use the intervening time to make preparations for that loss of supply.
There are crews on site and the problem will be fixed as soon as possible.
