Mattie McGrath has said that the upcoming Citizens Assembly that will be looking at the future of the 8th amendment, must not be formed in such a way that the outcome is pre-determined.
Mr McGrath said on TMWR that when people are being chosen to make up the assembly, they should be vetted to see whether they have any affiliation or membership with any group or organisation that advocated either the retention or the repeal of the amendment in question.
