The number of people waiting on trolleys at South Tipperary General Hospital remained high today with a total of 34 people awaiting beds. 24 are on trolleys in the A&E department, while 10 are on trolleys in wards.
Nationally, while not as high as yesterday, the figures compiled by the INMO show that at 537, there is pressure on emergency departments across the country.

The national figure does not include the ward figure at St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin, where a protest is due to take place this lunchtime, highlighting the ongoing beds crisis.
