Paul O’Connell made decision to retire on medical advice.

Following the confirmation of his retirement today Paul O’Connell says he is interested in Coaching.
 
The Young Munster man says he made the decision to retire on medical advice after picking up a hamstring injury at the World cup.
 
The 36 year old had signed for Toulon and while he will not be able to play for the European champions he says club owner Mourad Boujallal was understanding of his decision.
 
 The Limerick man says he is interested in coaching but it maybe some time before he gets to work with Munster. 
 
Former Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan says it’s sad for O’Connell not to retire on his own terms.
