The Environment Minister says Tipperary landlords have nothing to fear from new rental legislation being introduced.
The measures include increasing the rent review period from one to two years – meaning anybody who faced a rent increase in 2015, will not have a rent review until 2017.
Other changes will see landlords having to give more notice if they want to change rent levels or terminate a tenancy.
It comes as the housing crisis in Tipperary with hundreds of people waiting to be re-homed and dozens in emergency housing.
