Cllr Ambrose and Cllr Michael Smith selected to run in upcoming election

Clonmel Councillor Siobhan Ambrose and Roscrea Councillor Michael Smith have both been selected to run in the upcoming general election for Fianna Fail, alongside Cllr Jackie Cahill.
The decision was made following a meeting of the party’s National Constituency’s Committee.
Cllr Cahill was elected to Tipperary County Council for Fianna Fail last year. 

 He has also served as a president of the ICMSA.  He was selected in May to run as an election candidate for the party.
Cllr Ambrose was first elected to Tipperary County Council in 2009 and served on Clonmel Borough Council from 2004.
Cllr Smith, who is a farmer from Roscrea was first elected as a county councillor in 2004.
