An appeal for witnesses has been made by gardai in Cappamore after a 28 year-old man was killed in a road traffic collision yesterday.

he crash happened at Cooga Cross on the main Doon to Cappamore Road at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon when a car and truck collided.
The 28 year-old man was seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Limerick Regional Hospital for a post mortem.
Nobody else was injured in the collision.
