Chief Superintendent in charge of the Garda Training college said that she hoped any code of silence that may have been present among garda is now a thing of the past.
In her address today as she introduced a new training programme for garda recruits Chief Supertindent Anne-Marie McMahon was talking against the backdrop of recent criticism of An Garda Siochana when suggestions were made that their training in Templemore put loyaly over honesty.
The new training programme at Templemore is due to begin on Sept 8th when 100 new recruits will enter the college.
