A decision by An Bord Pleanala to grant permission for a major windfarm in North Tipperary has been greeted with dismay by An Taisce.
North Tipperary County Council had refused permission to ESB Wind Development and Coillte for sixteen 145 metre high wind turbines on Keeper Hill.
The decision was taken to the state planning appeals bord who overuled their own inspectors report and gave the green light.
