€2.8 million in funding has been allocated for community and energy projects in Co Tipperary.
The purpose of the funding is to improve energy consumption and reduce energy costs for homes community buildings, local authority premises and sports facilities.
Among the organisations approved for funding is the Canon Hayes Sports Centre in Tipperary Town.
