Co Tipperary Labour TD Alan Kelly has been elevated to the position of Environment Minister in today’s cabinet reshuffle.
This means that Kelly who was recently made Deputy Leader of the Labour Party will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a number of unpopular levies such as water charges and property tax
