Sports Capital funding totalling €1.215 million for 34 Tipperary groups was announced by Minister of State at the Department of Sports Michael Ring.
The Sports Capital Programme is the main channel of Government support for developing sports facilities and purchasing equipment for sports clubs and organisations.
Those who will receive funding include the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre which gets €6,000
Cullen Lattin GAA Club gets €50,000, Tipperary Town Football Club gets €15,000 while €4,000 is being allocated for Tipperary Wheelers Cycling and Triathlon Club.
