South Tipperary County Councillor Jack Crowe (FG) was yesterday elected unanimously as Chairman of the South Eastern Regional Authority.
The South Eastern Regional Authority comprises all of the five counties in the South Eastern Region.
His nomination was proposed by Cllr Maria Murphy of Tipperary and seconded by Mayor of Kilkenny Martin Brett.
Cllr Louise McLoughlin, also of Tipperary was elected to the position of Vice Chairperson of the Authority.
