Garda Stations in Co Tipperary are among 40 such buildings that the government has announced it plans to sell off.
The 40 buildings are just some of the stations that were controversially closed in the past year and a half.
The Office of Public Works is now seeking to appoint estate agents to sell the stations as it believes there is no alternate state use for the properties.
The process of selling these 40 properties marks the first phase of a disposal programme following on from the closure of 139 stations in the past 18 months.
In Co. Tipperary the properties up for sale in this round include Dundrum Garda Station, Ballinure Garda Station and Grangemockler Garda Station.
Locally, Doon and Galbally Garda stations are among the Co Limerick garda stations.
