The Heritage Minister, Jimmy Denihan, yesterday officially turned the sod on Killea’s new Community and Heritage centre.
The centre will act as a meeting place and a hub for workshops, events & other events according to Fine Gael Deputy Noel Coonan who alongside North Tipperary Leader partnership and the minister was involved in securing funding for the project
Work on the building will advance over the coming months.
