Nearly €50,000 has been allocated by the Office of Public Works for minor flood mitigation works in South Tipperary.
The announcement comes as part of a €1.145 million investment programme to allow the minor flood relief works to be carried out by Local Authorities.
The money will go towards works in the Fethard, Ballylooby, Killenaule, Grange and Goatenbridge areas.
Over €30,000 has been allocated for North Tipperary for works in Nenagh and Newport
