A decision will be given in April on whether or not the State is obliged to repair the court house in Tipperary Town.

The courthouse on St Michael's Street was closed in 2010 after falling into disrepair posing a danger to those using it.

A number of Lawyers in Tipperary Town have as a result brought legal proceedings to the High Court arguing that there is a statutory obligation on the Court Service to make the courthouse available.

Submissions were concluded on Wednesday.

Judgement was reserved and will be given next month
