Report card issued by An Taisce

County Tipperary has fared poorly in a report card issued by An Taisce relating to the performance of County and City Council’s Planning Authorities.

The study judged the performance of 34 City and County Councils They were graded using eight indicators relating to their implementation of planning policies.

Among the data considered was the extent of overzoning, the number of decisions reversed by An Bord Pleanala and the percentage of vacant housing stock in 201.

North Tipperary came in at 17th place with a D grade while South Tipperary came in at 13th place also scoring a D.
