Two More Candidates Emerge In The Tipperary Cashel MD Local Elections

Two more candidates have emerged in the Tipperary Cashel MD local elections.

Molly Browne, a 31-year-old native of Cashel is to run for Sinn Fein. Molly is daughter of Tipperary TD Martin Browne. Ms Brown is a childcare assistant and Special Needs Assistant.  Ms Brown says her feels her lived experience, working with her father as councillor and TD,  in trying got secure her own home and working with families through her employment makes her well placed to represent all people especially the younger generation.

John McGrath from Hollyford is to stand for the National Party which is led by Justin Barrett. John McGrath is self employed as a trader and truck driver and obtained BA from Maynooth in 1996. The party is putting a strong focus on the immigration issue in the election. To date Mr McGrath is the party’s only candidate in county Tipperary. Nominations will close for candidates at noon on May 18th.
