A young resident in Cordangan is raising funds for the Laura Lynn Foundation for Sick Children.
Erin O’Connor is gathering sponsorship in advance of her 7th Birthday on May 31st. Erin has let her hair grow and as it is now almost 12 inches long she is going to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust to be used to make wigs for children who may be undergoing cancer treatment. This is part of the Locks for Love Campaign organised by the Laura Lynn Foundation.
The fundraising on the iDonate platform has raised over €2,000 to date. Finesse Hair Salon in Oola will host the hair cut event at the end of the month with the exact date yet to be finalised. Further details can be found at this link here.
