Appeal For Assistance After Theft Of Significant Amount Of Timber In Mid Tipp

Gardaí in Thurles are seeking assistance following the theft of a significant amount of timber in the Killeens, Ballynonty area.

The treated timber was installed as part of the new Littleton Labyrinth walking trail Some of the timber was creating a fence while other timber was used in swinging gates to allow access for walkers.

Garda say the timber was stolen between Saturday 6th and Monday 9th April 2024 at Killeens, Ballynonty. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Thurles Garda station 0504-25100.

The Littleton Labyrinth Walkway is part of a new tourism project being delivered in conjunction with Bord na Mona and Tipperary County Council. The trail links the monastic site of Derry na Flan located close to the Horse and Jockey village to the man-make Lake and trails at Doire Bhille near Littleton.
