Christmas Carols Service by candlelight taking place in St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary on Sunday 17th December from 5pm to 6pm.  All are welcome

Upperchurch Drombane walking club are holding their annual Christmas night walk on Sunday night the 17th December, walk starts at 6.30pm in the Upperchurch Village. Register beforehand in the hall. All donations in aid of Suir Haven and Tipperary Homeless Services. Mulled wind, mince pies and christmas carols. Refreshments afterwards in the Hall. Nenagh Christmas Gathering Singalong community event will take place on the 22nd December at 3pm till 6pm in Nenagh.  Music from Jennifer’s school of music, buskers and Callum Delahunty, puckane choir and portroe choir preforming to create great Christmas feeling. We are busking for Silver Arch which is a charity in Nenagh that does so much for the community.

Christmas Themed Table Quiz will take place in Kickham Pub on Sunday 17th of December. This event is in aid of The Clare’s Wish Foundation, a charity which grants wishes for terminally illv adults. The quiz will be hosted by The Tipperary Town Heritage Group and will start at 8pm. raffle on the night.

Emly Variety Players present ‘The Christmas Cracker’. A fun evening of songs, stories and dance. The event will take place in Emly Parish Hall on Sunday 17th of December at 8pm.

Golden Tidy Villages Committee invite all in the parish to our Light Up The Night ceremony Friday 15th of December in Golden Village. Parade with bikes, trikes, tractors, and scooters to the Island to turn on the Christmas tree lights. Hot chocolates available after, the event will start at 6.45pm down Church Lane.

The Abbey School in conjunction with the Abbey Parents Council, are running a Christmas Raffle on Friday December 22nd. Tickets can be purchased online using the link on the Abbey School Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. Abbey students will also be selling tickets outside Bennett’s SuperValu and Bank of Ireland Thursday 14th & Friday 15th December and more dates will follow.
