Artists based in county Tipperary are invited to apply for opportunities to take part in the 2024 Bealtaine festival. Bealtaine is presented annually as a nationwide festival celebrating the arts and creativity during the month of May. The festival is an initiative of Age & Opportunity, the national organisation that promotes active and engaged living as people age.
Tipperary Arts Office is inviting artists and performers to submit a written proposal for an engagement project or event targeted at older people, culminating in a showcase during the month of May 2024 as part of the Bealtaine Festival.
All art forms are eligible to apply for the funding available which will range from €1,000 to €3,500 depending on size, scale and reach of the proposal. Full details are available on the Tipperary County Council website and the closing date for applications is noon on Monday December 11th.
Submissions should include the project proposal, the artist(s) CV and three examples of previous relevant work.
