Motor Tax Office To Relocate In Clonmel

244

Tipperary county council is to relocate the motor tax office in Clonmel.

After the close of business today the office will move to the Town Hall building on Parnell Street and be operational from Tuesday October 31st.

The existing office space on Emmet Street will be transformed into an area for the Housing Department to provide improved customer service across all of it’s operations.  The new Housing Department office will provide a dedicated entrance for members of the public to meet with staff from the Housing Section.

Work is to be done in both buildings (Emmet Street and Parnell Street) to reconfigure office space and refurbish the council chamber in the former town hall.

The work is to be carried out by a local contractor, Mulcahy Construction and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Motor tax payments and vehicle registrations can also be completed online at the website motortax.ie
