Gardaí have issued details of traffic management plan for the Dualla Show to be held on Sunday August 27th at Newpark, Dualla located between Cashel and the Horse and Jockey.
Drivers are asked to follow specific routes to ensure safe and swift access to the show. Garda are also advising drivers to avoid using GPS navigation or Google Maps to find alternative roads.
The plan is intended to avoid last year’s congestion when record breaking attendances causes delays of up to two hours on some approach roads.
Traffic travelling northbound on the M8 should use the YELLOW route that exits the M8 at Junction 7 and joins the R639 road towards the Horse and Jockey.
Traffic from the east through Killenaule, Ballingarry, Kilkenny, etc. is asked to use the GREEN Route which goes through Ballinure village.
Drivers from north of Dualla are asked to use the PURPLE route – those driving south along the M8 can exit the motorway at Junction 6, close to the Horse and Jockey village.
All local traffic from Mid and West Tipperary and from Limerick direction should access the event site via the RED route through the town of Cashel.
