Drivers in the Tipperary town area are advised of road works tonight on the N24 from the roundabout at Bank Place to a point close to Whelan’s Funeral Home on the Bansha Road.
The road is being resurfaced leading to a large crew of approximately 25 staff working on road planing, waste removal and resurfacing works. The decision to carry out the works overnight has caused some disturbance to local residents.
The works will recommence tonight, Friday July 14th at 7pm and continue until approximately 7am on Saturday July 15th.
A stop and go traffic system is in operation and drivers are advised to drive with caution and to expect short delays. Access from the Link Road, Pearse Park/Knockanrawley and O’Duffy Terrace is also impacted by construction equipment.
