242

Cllr Anne Marie Ryan is calling on Tipperary Oireachtas members to seek funding for the resolution of what Uisce Eireann classifies as “Developer Provided water services Infrastructure” (DPI).

The annual allocation of funding to resolve outstanding issues with DPI sees almost €15M allocated nationally but none to County Tipperary for 2023.

There are currently 11 housing estates in the Tipperary Cahir Cashel District that are unable to complete the “Taking in Charge” process which means the Council takes responsibility for the roadways, lighting and water services.

Estates such as An Cuirt and Inis Grove Estates – Monard, Blackbridge – Dundrum, Oak Grove/Bohertrime – Donohill, Cnoc na nCaiseal – Ardfinnan, Dun n’Or – Donaskeagh, Kilnamanagh Manor – Dundrum, Manor Court –Thomastown, Riversdale – Toem, Rocksprings Kilross and Thomastown Cross/Moanteen – Golden are all waiting for funding to be provided to resolve issues with Water Services Infrastructure.
