Ireland’s First Solar Powered Duck Feeder Installed In Cahir

Cahir Town becomes the first in the country to be home to a solar powered duck feeder.

The facility has installed in the Inch Field today.

The machine will release wholesome food for ducks and geese at a cost of €1 using your card only.

The idea is reduce the amount of bread that ducks get as the large volumes of bread is bad for them.

The local tidy towns is thanking to Matthew Knight of The Feed Ducks initiative who supplied and built it and to the council for help installing the feeder.
