Tipperary Town Garda say road conditions are poor at present due to overnight snowfall.
No traffic incidents have been reported as of now.
Several parts of the country including Tipperary report significant snowfall overnight.
It is to remain cold with snow and sleet forecast for today.
The conditions will turn to rain later today and then back to snow this evening when temperatures are expected to be below zero with freezing conditions forecast.
A status yellow Met Eireann Snow and Ice warning is in place for all of Ireland until 11pm tonight.
A status yellow Met Eireann Low temperature & Ice warning is in place from 9pm tonight until 10am tomorrow Friday March 10th.
