A new Degree programme offered by the Technological University of the Shannon(TUS) in collaboration with Gurteen College is inviting direct applications via the college website at www.tus.ie for this academic year.
The course is a BSc in Agriculture Science and Sustainability. The Course is a level 8 Honours degree course that will commence on September 26th. The course is intended to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to work in the agriculture and Agri food sector. Participants can exit the course with a Level 6 or Level 7 award after 2 or 3 years or continue to complete a full Honours Degree course.
Students will spend two full semesters at Gurteen College located near Roscrea and one semester on Work Placement. The remaining five semesters will see students based at the Thurles Campus of TUS.
Applications for this year can be made direct to TUS, however from 2023, applications will be via the CAO form.
