A major water outage has been reported for the Ardfinnan area that is also affecting people in the Cahir area.
Irish Water says repairs to a burst water main may affect supply to Ardfinnan, Grange, Jamestown, Rathkeevan, Kilmolash, Derrygrath, Nicholastown, Ballyhickey, Garnavilla, Marlhill and surrounds.
Residents in those areas will be impacted until 7:30pm today.
Irish Water is working with Tipperary County Council to restore water as quickly as possible to all impacted customers.
Dedicated water service crews have mobilised and repairs are underway and are expected to be completed by 5pm this evening.
Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the repair works.
Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.

We understand the inconvenience bursts can have on customers and we appreciate your patience as we work to return normal water supply as quickly as possible.”
