Gardaí are currently at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic involving a truck on the M8 Near Cashel.
The incident occurred at approximately 7pm this evening, at junction 6, on the M8 Southbound.
The motorway is closed to southbound traffic between J6 Thurles and J7 Cashel (north).
A man in his 60s has been taken to CUH to be treated for his injuries.
The road is currently closed between junctions 6 and 7 with local diversions in place.
The road is expected to be closed overnight.
