Over 90% COVID Vaccination Rate In Tipp/Cashel

Over 90% of eligible people in the Tipp Town and Cashel local electoral area are vaccinated against Covid-19.

That’s according to the latest data from the Central Statistic Office.

Roscrea, Templemore, Carrick-On-Suir, and Clonmel local electoral area (91.9% to 92.7%) is above the Tipp/Cashel vaccine rate (90.8% to 91.9%)

The vaccine rate in Thurles LEA is the same as Tipp Town and Cashel.

While Cahir LEA has the lowest uptake in the county with between 87.7% to 89.8% people vaccinated.

Meanwhile the COVID-19 booster vaccination rate ranges from 52% to 75% across the country.

Roscrea/Templemore is leading the way with the highest rate for the booster dose at 70%.

67% of people in Thurles and Carrick in Suir have recieved their Covid-19 vaccine booster.

66% of people in Tipp Town/Cashel and Clonmel have got their booster.

Cahir has seen the lowest uptake for the booster covid-19 vaccine with 64 percent taking up the offer.
