An Garda Síochána & Road Safety Authority are urging all motorists to act responsibly and not drink and drive this St Patrick’s Day bank holiday weekend.
The statistics show that 1 in 10 alcohol-related crashes happen the morning after.
It follows news that there’s been an 118% increase in road deaths in 2022 compared to same time last year.
