Gardaí in Cahir have seized a car for having no tax for 3 years and 7 months.
The local Roads Policing Unit carried out a number of checkpoints last night in the vicinity of The Vee outside Clogheen last night.
While a second vehicle was seized as the driver was on a learner permit and was unaccompanied by a holder of a full licence.
Fixed Charged Notice were also issued for the offences.
