Public Consultation On Cashel Public Realm Closes Tomorrow

802

A public consultation on the Cashel Public Realm and Signage Strategy design closes tomorrow January 5th at 4.30pm.

There will be a formal planning application later this year but the public are encouraged to review the proposals and to give their input before tomorrow’s deadline.

The plans are being developed by The Paul Hogarth Company and can be viewed online at the www.tipperarycoco.ie website or in Cashel Library.

Feedback can be emailed to the council at [email protected] or by completing the survey form  on the council website here or by completing a feedback form in Cashel Library.

The goal of the project is to make Cashel a new destination town in Ireland – the project will look at a number of issues including pedestrianising the area known as the “Back of the Pipes”, changing the flow of traffic through the town centre, reducing the number of parking spaces on main street, installing canopies at the Plaza and at Wesley Square and developing access links between the town centre, the Rock of Cashel and walking routes in the area.
